What is a CSA?

A CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture, and is an opportunity for customers to purchase a small share of the next seasons crops. This helps Farmers with upfront costs of farming earlier in spring before the crops start to produce sellable items. Read more about how our CSA works below.

Whats the Flax Hollow Farm CSA?

When you purchase a Flax Hollow Farm CSA you’ll receive a punch card for six bouquets this will allow you the flexibility to use on bouquets of your choosing throwout the 2024 flower season. You’ll also become part of our CSA newsletter and be the first to hear when new flowers become available. you’ll also receive an invite for you and one guest of your choosing to attend our first ever flower fest.

How much is the Flax Hollow CSA?

For $150 plus tax you’ll receive a six bouquet punch card. this punch card can be used for any six bouquets or bunches of flowers priced $15-$30.

Where can I use my Punch card?

You can use it to order our weekly offers and pick it up at the farm, we just kindly ask for 24 hours notice before the date you wish to pick it up. You can also use your card at any farmers markets, pop-up events we attend or one of our Flower Friday events at the farm.

What kind of flowers/bouquets can I expect?

I grow a large array of flowers. Though I can not guarantee the success of future crops, these are some of the flowers I plan to grow for the 2024 season. Spring/early summer daffodils, ranunculus, anemones, poppies, snap dragons, plus greenery/filler. Summer/Fall cosmos, zinnias, marigolds, sunflowers, gladiolus, Dahlias plus greenery/filler. You can expect to have bunches of singles varieties and mixed. bouquets offer to you throwout the season.

When can I use my CSA?

At any point in the 2024 season. It can be used for spring, Sumer or fall flowers. When the flowers start to bloom in spring you’ll receive your first CSA newsletter letting you know the flowers have started to bloom and are now available. As new flowers Arrive throughout the season we’ll keep you up to date on what’s available. Generally flowers will start in April and continue through the end of September.

Can I combine Multiple punches to purchase a bouquet over $30?

No. Punches can not be combined to purchase a bouquet over $30. Punches can not be combined with Cash or credit to purchase something over $30. One punch per $15-$30 bunch or bouquet.

What happens if I don’t use all 6 punches by the end of the season?

Its your responsibility as the costumers to use your CSA to its full potential. If you have unused punches at the end of the season you will not receive a credit or refund. your card is only good for the 2024 season, generally from April to September. CSAs are used to cover upfront costs early in the season and will be directly invested into flowers grown for the 2024 season.

What if I lose my punch card?

Don’t worry about it- you will receive a physical card but also we have a data base to track how many punches have been used by each CSA member. If you lose your physical card we’ll have replace it for you.

Whats Flower Fest?

Flower fest will be a CSA members only event. The event will include a build your own bouquet bar, golden hour tour of the flower field, light snacks and drink and an Q&A with your flower farmer. Date is TBA but will most likely take place mid-august to mid- September to coordinate with peak summer flowers so we really get to enjoy the magic of the flower field together.

Will I have to attend Flower Fest?

No, its included in your CSA and completely optional.

Can I purchase this as a gift?

Yes! when completing the sign-up form for your CSA there is an option to purchase a gift.
